TokOpen Enterprise Report Manager breaks the endless cycle of printing and distributing hard copy reports. It reverses your rising print and administration costs, and releases scarce storage space.
Enterprise Report Manager (E.R.M.) automatically
captures, indexes and imports the output from
your transaction system, without ever producing
hard copy.
All data is centrally managed so that from your
user workstation, you can search for and view
documents on line, exactly as if they had been
printed and scanned.
Document Management System
Enterprise Report Manager requires TokOpen Personal
Edition, TokOpen Small Business Access or SQL
Editions, or TokOpen Enterprise Edition to be
installed.
Document Capture Stations
The minimum workstation specification for each
E.R.M. data capture engine implemented is a Pentium
III, 500 MHz 64MB RAM for Windows 98/ME, 128MB
RAM for Windows NT4/2000/XP.
The print spool data to be captured by E.R.M.
must be an ASCII based source file.
Document Viewing Stations
Each workstation must have the TokOpen Client
software and the E.R.M. Viewer installed. Minimum
recommended workstation configuration is a Pentium,
200 MHz 64MB RAM for Windows 98/ME,
128MB RAM for Windows NT4/2000/XP.
Network Considerations
A typical single page A4 or Letter document will
be approximately 2 - 5KB in size. If access documents
remotely, E.R.M. can be configured to store the
document template at the remote site to minimise
future network traffic.
