Q1. What documents can your solutions manage?
FileStore and Alchemy can both manage any form of electronic document information including scanned image files, MS Office, emails, etc. Quickimage is a simple image only single user archive solution.
Q2. How secure are my documents?
FileStore and Alchemy both offer a fully secure information vault with user and group passwords. FileStore offers more advanced security together with functional restrictions by user or group.
Q3. How do I ensure my documents are legally compliant?
FileStore has a full audit logging option which automatically tracks who, when and who every document was accessed. This assists with compliance with BS DISC PD0008.
Q4. Can I access documents via the web?
Both Alchemy and FileStore have web server options which allow secure password access via a normal web browser.
Q5. What databases can I use for FileStore?
FileStore uses any form of SQL compliant database but typically we implement MS SQL server.
Q6. How can I manage the flow of documents through our organisation?
This is termed 'workflow' and can be implemented
by installing the optional FileStore Workflow module.

Typically 1Gb of storage space will store approx 20,000 A4 pages which represents about 10 archive boxes or 3 x 3 drawer filing cabinets.
Q8. I have reports being printed every day and I want to archive these electronically rather than printing or microfilming them. What do I do?
You can use FileStore ERM or Alchemy Datagrabber to archive your data streams direct from your print run data. This can then be searched and viewed on any individual line item your require within seconds. Further reporting and data mining can be done using our Monarch product.
